This is my attempt at writing regular blogs. Its mostly about pictures and the –– hopefully: weird –– tales behind them. Or stories and the pictures behind them. Often, but not always, technology plays a role, for example the many cameras I could try out so far. Because technology is another topic that plays a part in my life. Even though I always realise that the best technique is not defined by the tool in the hands of the photographer, but by skills that a person (hopefully) acquires throughout life. So the motivation behind this blog could be that in my free hours I like to string words together and take pictures, similar to my job where I somehow deal with selling stories. But isn’t storytelling what defines most of our lives?
